Soil Analysis
Southern Soils provides Soil Analysis using the Lancaster or Mehlich3 extractions methods depending on your preference.
Our standard soil test includes Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Manganese, Zinc, Sulfur, and Sodium levels in lbs/acre or ppm, % Organic Matter, pH, Cation Exchange Capacity and % acid as well as crop specific fertilizer and lime recommendations.

Plant Tissue Analysis
Plant tissue analysis of a crop at different stages can provide valuable information about what the plant needs during the growing season.
Our full analysis consists of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Sulfur, Zinc, Manganese, Iron, Copper, and Boron. Our report will include nutrient ranges. (Very low, low, optimum, high, or excessive) This data can assist you in determining a crop’s nutritional needs throughout the growing season. We also offer a nitrogen-only analysis.
